Welcome to the 4th LECOdays Nordic in Berlin

We are excited to welcome you to Berlin from October 07–09, 2026, for our fourth edition of LECOdays Nordic, bringing together professionals, researchers, and industry experts for three days of knowledge sharing and technological insight. Hosted at LECO’s European Application and Technology Center, Berlin, this event offers an exceptional opportunity to explore the latest scientific developments and engage directly with LECO’s advanced analytical solutions.

Attendees can look forward to a program filled with expert-led presentations, in-depth discussions, and live demonstrations designed to highlight emerging trends, innovative approaches, and forward-looking analytical techniques. This year’s focus will center on environmental innovation and sustainable technologies, offering valuable insight into how today’s challenges are shaping tomorrow’s analytical landscape.

Program:

Calibration training course: A short course in calibration on LECO instruments will be held on October 7, 2026.

Welcome dinner: A joint dinner will be held on the evening of October 7 on the ship Orca Ten Broke.

Workshop date: October 8, 2026 (Official dinner on October 7)

For those who will stay in Berlin after the workshop, an informal dinner will be held on October 8 as well (location to be decided).

Time for demo! We have also reserved the whole demo lab the day before (October 7) and the day after (October 9) the workshop, so you are very welcome to take the opportunity to see and evaluate our newest instruments. Contact your LECO sales representative in order to schedule a specific demonstration.

Timeline: 

LECOdays Nordic covers three days. Recommended arrival and departure dates will be dependent if we have a scheduled demo for you on either October 7 or October 9.

DAY 1 (Wednesday, October 7):

From 08:00 – Demos (scheduled individually)

14:00-15.30 – Calibration fundamentals for LECO instruments

17:30-20.30 – Welcome dinner at the ship Orca Ten Broke: Click here for location

 

DAY 2 (Thursday, October 8):

09:00 to ~17:00
Workshop, tour in the lab, time for running short demos (preliminary agenda will be announced soon)

From 18:00: Informal dinner (location to be decided later)

DAY 3 (Friday, October 9):

From 08:00: Demos (scheduled individually). Participants need to take care of their travel.

How to get there by public transport in Berlin:
Station: “Jungfernheide“
Bus: 109, M21, M27, N7 U-Bahn: U7 S-Bahn: S41, S42
Regional Train: RB10, RB13, RB14, RE2, RE4, RE6
From Berlin Main Station ~15 Min. (5.5 km)
Leave the station in direction “Max-Dohrn-Str.”, cross the street, turn left, and after about 75 to 100 meters you will see the main entrance of BiotechPark to the right.

How to get there by plane:
From BER Airport Berlin Brandenburg take the Airport Express (FEX) in direction “S+U Berlin Hauptbahnhof“ (Berlin Main Station, 3 stops). At Berlin Main Station take the train RE4 in direction “Rathenow, Bhf” and get off the train at the next stop “S+U Jungfernheide Bhf (Berlin)”. The train journey takes about 50 minutes (including train changes).

How to get there by car: (coming from A 115)
1.) At highway interchange Funkturm, take a half right on to A100 exit Siemensdamm, turn right on to Tegeler Weg, turn left (first street) on to Max-Dohrn-Str.
2.) At highway interchange Charlottenburg keep right and turn on to Tegeler Weg at autobahn junction Jakob-Kaiser-Platz, turn right on to Tegeler Weg, turn left (first street) on to Max-Dohrn-Str.
3.) At highway interchange Jakob-Kaiser-Platz turn right on to Tegeler Weg, then turn (first street) left on to Max-Dohrn-Str.

When arrived at the site, please follow the instructions below.

IMPORTANT: To enter the Biotechpark area you need to show valid identification (ID-Card, Passport)

Please note that Google Maps wrongly pinpointed the LECO EATC building. Please see below.

Public parking spaces can be found directly in front of the entrance to BioTechPark.

Accommodation: We have reserved rooms at Motel One Berlin Upper West (Hotel Berlin Upper West Motel One | design hotels Berlin Upper West (motel-one.com) that can be designated for you during your stay. If you need any assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Participation Fee

A preregistration is required for this event.

Early-bird (until August 1) registration fee is 900 SEK or 90 EUR. Late registration is 1500 SEK or 150 EUR.
